We’re Live: Introducing Broken Duck Media

Broken Duck Media is now officially live—and we’re excited to share what we’ve been working on.

We’re a small, independent software studio based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, focused on building AI-first applications that merge storytelling, interactivity, and functional utility. Our approach is simple: build software that solves creative problems in practical, scalable ways. We design tools we want to use—and we test them with real users.

What We Build

Our core products include:

Each of these products is built with a lean tech stack (Python, Astro, React, FastAPI, SQLModel) and optimized for performance, clarity, and creative control. Our tools aren’t toys—they’re production-grade systems for creators, students, and developers who need to move fast.

Why “Broken Duck”?

We design for edge cases, overlooked users, and creative chaos. The name Broken Duck Media comes from a simple idea: a designer who could keep ducks dry in the rain. Most software breaks under weird inputs or ambiguous creative goals. Ours shouldn’t.

Who We Are

Broken Duck Media was founded by Craig, a developer and content creator with deep experience in education, media, and systems thinking. He leads product design, backend architecture, and AI workflows across all projects.

Amber, a co-founder and marketing strategist, brings insight into brand development, user acquisition, and content performance. She co-runs Green Light Studio with her husband Jake, who supports infrastructure and frontend architecture.

We’re based in Pong Noi, Chiang Mai, just minutes from the university and surrounded by strong coffee, fast internet, and plenty of student talent.

What’s Next

We’re actively:

This is just the beginning. If you’re a developer, educator, musician, or founder working on similar problems—or if you’re curious about our tools—reach out.
